BW Elara wins Green Maritime Project of the year at ShipTek International Awards 2026

BW Elara has been recognised as Green Maritime Project of the Year at the 24th ShipTek International Awards Singapore 2026, celebrating its contribution to maritime innovation and sustainable floating desalination.

‍The award marks an important milestone for BW Elara and the teams, partners and collaborators involved in developing its Floating Desalination Unit (FDU). The project brings together maritime expertise and desalination technology to address growing freshwater supply challenges.

The award was accepted on behalf of BW Elara by Managing Director Amanda Scribante, presented by Sir Sohan Roy SK, Founder and CEO of Aries Group, and David Foo, Deputy Chief Executive (Operations & Technology) and Chief Data Officer of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA).

The ceremony brought together leading organisations and professionals from across the maritime industry, providing an opportunity to exchange ideas and recognise the innovations shaping the sector's future.
